Assistant Accountant

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant who can work independently and collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and meet reporting deadlines.

The successful candidate will join an established real estate group with operations across multiple markets and will have opportunities to develop their finance and sustainability experience.


Job Description

Finance:

  • Manage the full set of accounts for assigned subsidiaries, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Fixed Assets.

  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions on a monthly basis.

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare reports on cash movements and fixed deposit placements.

  • Prepare tax computations and ensure timely tax filing compliance.

  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.

  • Liaise with external auditors and prepare statutory financial statements for entities under your responsibility.

  • Prepare accurate and timely quarterly financial reports in accordance with IFRS requirements.

  • Coordinate and prepare annual budgets and forecasts for assigned entities.

  • Provide ad hoc administrative and finance-related support as required.

Sustainability:

  • Support internal/external audits, sustainability reporting, and other reporting requirements.

  • Collate, validate, and analyse data relating to the Group’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and impact.

  • Support compliance of sustainability disclosures with applicable regulations, standards, and reporting frameworks.

  • Assist in the implementation of sustainability initiatives and stakeholder engagement programmes.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline, and/or a recognised professional accounting qualification.

  • Good knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, GST requirements, and relevant regulatory requirements.

  • At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in full-set accounting and financial reporting. Experience in the real estate sector is an advantage.

  • Interest in sustainability matters and willingness to develop knowledge of sustainability reporting and related regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet reporting deadlines.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English.

Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager (UK)

We are seeking a Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager to join our UK team. The role provides hands-on financial leadership for our UK operations while working closely with Group Finance in Singapore. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape a lean but impactful finance function within an international growth platform.


Job Description

1. Financial Control & Tax Structuring

  • Partner with the Singapore finance team and external advisors on tax structuring, including private REIT / private fund and other initiatives.

  • Provide guidance on corporate structuring for new and existing UK/European investments.

2. Tax Accounting & Development Finance

  • Advise on appropriate capitalisation policies, capital allowance planning, and treatment of development expenditure.

  • Ensure compliance with UK tax and financial accounting standards.

3. Operations, Consolidation & Reporting

  • Assist the Head of Finance (SG) and the UK CEO in UK group consolidation, coordinating with Singapore accountants to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

  • Maintain up-to-date financial insights for the UK platform, enabling management decision-making.

  • Managing day-to-day operations, including payment processing and accounts preparation.


4. Budgeting & Performance Management

  • Lead the UK budgeting process in collaboration with the UK CEO and business teams.

  • Translate business plans into P&L forecasts and manage ongoing variance analysis for effective performance monitoring.


5. Strategic Finance & Business Partnering

  • Support the Head of Finance (SG) and the UK CEO on broader UK and continental Europe initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships, and financing.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the management team, balancing hands-on execution with strategic input.


Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

Experience:

  • 7–12 years of finance experience.

  • Strong foundation in tax accounting and corporate structuring (preferably from a real estate or corporate environment; tax accountants with commercial roles highly valued).

  • Experience in development accounting and reporting is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Solid technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS).

  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a lean setup.

  • Strong tax knowledge with commercial finance experience. Ability to advise on tax structuring while managing day-to-day operations, including payment processing and account preparation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Building Executive / Senior Building Executive

We are seeking a committed Building Executive / Senior Building Executive to join our team in managing one of our Grade A commercial buildings located in the One-North precinct (Buona Vista), Singapore.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills to be able to effectively engage with internal stakeholders, tenants, and contractors.


Job Description

  • Conduct daily inspections of the building to ensure that it is in satisfactory and serviceable condition, and where necessary, follow up with rectifications or recommendations to the Management.

  • Handle various tasks across work functions including security management, cleaning, landscape, waste management, irrigation system, lifting system, carpark system, building defects and repair, and fire & safety matters.

  • Control and manage the use of common amenities and facilities in the building.

  • Ensure regular servicing of building components by term contractors according to schedule and scope of work.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the building is in good condition, e.g. cleanliness, car park, and signages etc.

  • Coordinate with the M&E team on the required testing or inspections to be carried out during the unit fit-out and reinstatement work.

  • Act as a member of the Company’s Emergency Response Team (CERT) for the development.

  • Prepare and control budgets for Control and Preparation for Operations and Capital Expenditures.

  • Conduct regular inspections of the fire protection facilities and systems to ensure that they are satisfactory and serviceable. Follow up with rectifications or recommendations to the Management where necessary. 

  • Execute fire drill exercises.

  • Liaise with the public, tenants, and relevant authorities on the implementation of improvement works.

  • Assist in contract administration and procurement of goods and services. Manage and maintain proper records of correspondence, documents, and materials related to the building and contractors.

  • Create and maintain good rapport with tenants, attend to their feedback, and handle emergencies after office hours when necessary.


Requirements

  • Diploma in Building Management & Services, or equivalent.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.

Engineering Executive / Senior Engineering Executive

We are looking for an innovative, dedicated engineer who has a broad skill set and experience in managing the M&E of a commercial building.  The engineer’s responsibilities include defining problems, researching, interpreting, and applying information, developing solutions, and making decisions.

Ideal candidates will display an ability to comprehend complex systems, identify the sources of any problems that arise, and decide on which actions to take to fix them.


Job Description

  • Lead and supervise a team of M&E technicians, providing guidance on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and day-to-day operational issues.

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, including:

    o   Air-conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV)

    o   Electrical power and lighting systems

    o   Fire protection systems

    o   Building Management System (BMS)

    o   Plumbing and sanitary systems

  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of all M&E facilities to ensure they are safe, operational, and maintained in good serviceable condition. Recommend and follow up on repair or replacement works where necessary.

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive maintenance programmes to ensure all M&E systems are serviced in accordance with term contract schedules, specifications, statutory requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Supervise, inspect, and evaluate the performance of contractors, service vendors, and technicians to ensure maintenance, repair, and replacement works are completed satisfactorily, within scope, and in compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.

  • Review and certify service reports, work completion records, and contractors' claims prior to payment.

  • Administer maintenance and service contracts, including reviewing contract scope, preparing specifications, drafting tender documents, calling and evaluating quotations/tenders, and recommending contract awards or renewals before contract expiry.

  • Manage ad-hoc repair and improvement works by preparing scopes of work, obtaining quotations, seeking management approval, issuing Purchase Orders (POs), supervising execution, and certifying completed works for payment.

  • Plan, implement, and manage M&E Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including budgeting, tendering, contractor evaluation, project execution, and completion.

  • Review tenants' fit-out and renovation submissions to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, building requirements, and M&E design standards.

  • Respond promptly to tenants' feedback and maintenance requests, ensuring rectification works are carried out efficiently with minimal disruption to building occupants.

  • Monitor electricity and water consumption, analyse utility trends, recommend energy and water-saving initiatives, and prepare monthly utility and management reports.

  • Ensure timely renewal of all statutory licences, certifications, and regulatory submissions relating to M&E systems, including WEMP, BESS, and other authority requirements.

  • Maintain proper documentation and records of maintenance activities, inspections, contracts, statutory compliance, and asset performance.

  • Perform any other duties or projects assigned by Management from time to time.


Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and able to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Possess a high level of initiative and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
