We are seeking a Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager to join our UK team. The role provides hands-on financial leadership for our UK operations while working closely with Group Finance in Singapore. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape a lean but impactful finance function within an international growth platform.
1. Financial Control & Tax Structuring
Partner with the Singapore finance team and external advisors on tax structuring, including private REIT / private fund and other initiatives.
Provide guidance on corporate structuring for new and existing UK/European investments.
2. Tax Accounting & Development Finance
Advise on appropriate capitalisation policies, capital allowance planning, and treatment of development expenditure.
Ensure compliance with UK tax and financial accounting standards.
3. Operations, Consolidation & Reporting
Assist the Head of Finance (SG) and the UK CEO in UK group consolidation, coordinating with Singapore accountants to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Maintain up-to-date financial insights for the UK platform, enabling management decision-making.
Managing day-to-day operations, including payment processing and accounts preparation.
4. Budgeting & Performance Management
Lead the UK budgeting process in collaboration with the UK CEO and business teams.
Translate business plans into P&L forecasts and manage ongoing variance analysis for effective performance monitoring.
5. Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
Support the Head of Finance (SG) and the UK CEO on broader UK and continental Europe initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships, and financing.
Act as a trusted advisor to the management team, balancing hands-on execution with strategic input.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Experience:
7–12 years of finance experience.
Strong foundation in tax accounting and corporate structuring (preferably from a real estate or corporate environment; tax accountants with commercial roles highly valued).
Experience in development accounting and reporting is advantageous.
Skills:
Solid technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS).
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a lean setup.
Strong tax knowledge with commercial finance experience. Ability to advise on tax structuring while managing day-to-day operations, including payment processing and account preparation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across international teams and diverse stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, external advisors, and auditors.

We are looking for an innovative, dedicated executive with a broad skill set and experience in handling tenancy work in commercial buildings. The executive’s responsibilities include liaising with tenants for their fit-out and reinstatement work. The ideal candidate must have experience in tenancy work, a good understanding of relevant authorities’ requirements and compliance, and the necessary M&E knowledge to review tenants’ office designs. The candidate should also display an ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, tenants, and contractors, ensuring fit-out/reinstatement works are carried out accordingly.
Liaise with the leasing team on handling and taking over retail and office units, including preparing documents/keys and units for handover and takeover.
Conduct briefings with tenants and their consultants/contractors on design requirements upon confirmation of unit tenancy.
Work closely with the Building and M&E teams to review tenants’ office designs, both architectural and M&E.
Act as the main liaison for the unit's fit-out and reinstatement works during design, fit-out period and completion.
Ensure contractors submit all the required documents, deposits, and PTW before the commencement of works.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance and to prevent any unauthorized work activities.
Coordinate with M&E team on the required testing or inspection during the unit's fit-out and reinstatement work.
Process all account openings and closings for electricity and water.
Arrange for inspection with tenants and contractors upon completing fit-out or reinstatement work.
Process refund of security deposits upon completion of defects and submission of all as-built drawings and authorities’ approvals.
Advise the leasing team on architectural and M&E requirements for re-configuration and sub-division works.
Call for tenders/quotations for any re-configuration and sub-division works, including putting up recommendations to award the works.
Requirements
Possess a Diploma / Degree in Building or Real Estate Management with at least 5 years of relevant experience in commercial buildings.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines.
High level of initiative, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The Company offers a competitive salary package, with shift and phone allowances. This role requires working in 3 shifts, six days a week.
Perform routine and periodic inspections, monitoring and checks on various building services and facilities. Follow up with the submission of checklists, reports, and defects lists to the Manager and carry out necessary rectification works.
Install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive & corrective maintenance on air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation systems, electrical systems (power & lighting), fire protection systems, building management systems, and plumbing & sanitary systems.
Attend to breakdowns, complaints, feedback, and tenant service calls related to building services and facilities. Perform relevant repair works and follow up with the submission of relevant service and maintenance reports to the Manager. Inspect, supervise and check on contractors to ensure that all maintenance, repair and replacement works and services undertaken by them are carried out satisfactorily and adequately in accordance with the designated work scope and specifications.
Escort and supervise contractors’ work to ensure compliance with a method statement, risk assessment and workplace safety.
Perform handyman and breakdown maintenance works (e.g. electrical, sanitary, plumbing, minor repairs etc.).
Certify the completion of jobs undertaken by contractors.
Check and maintain inventory, and submit requests for purchases.
Recommend improvements, cost-savings measures, inventory control, etc.
Perform any other duties as required by the Manager.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in building servicing.
Ability to work weekly rotating shifts (3 shifts) - 7am to 4pm, 2pm to 11pm, 10:30pm to 7:30am.
6-day work week
